How we plan to use TikTok data and APIs
GMV MAX Automation Manager uses TikTok APIs to help authorized merchants and advertising operators view their own campaign and GMV MAX performance data in a private dashboard.
Data requested
- Advertising account identifiers, such as advertiser ID.
- Campaign names, campaign IDs, statuses, budgets, and related campaign metadata.
- GMV MAX reporting metrics, including spend, GMV, orders, ROAS, ACOS, and conversion rate.
- Authorized store identifiers required to query store-level GMV MAX reports.
Purpose of use
The data is used to display operational dashboards, monitor campaign performance, compare ROAS and ACOS against internal thresholds, and help operators decide whether manual review is needed.
Read-only first phase
The initial API integration is read-only. We do not use TikTok APIs to publish content, change campaign budgets, change bids, pause campaigns, or modify store data during this phase.
Data sharing
TikTok data is not sold, rented, or shared with third-party advertising networks. Data is used only for authorized business operations within the merchant or operator account.
